Welcome to VerixEdu, an online learning and revision support platform owned and operated by Codeverix Digital. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of VerixEdu, including all related services, features, tools, and content made available through the website https://verixedu.codeverix.com.
By accessing or using VerixEdu, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should discontinue your use of VerixEdu immediately. These Terms apply to all users, including but not limited to students, teachers, guardians, institutions, and other individuals accessing the platform.
The purpose of VerixEdu is to provide educational support, study resources, interactive practice tools, and AI-powered learning assistance. While the platform strives to maintain high standards of accuracy and usability, VerixEdu is intended as a supplementary learning resource rather than a replacement for formal education, classroom instruction, or professional academic guidance.
You acknowledge that VerixEdu reserves the right to update, revise, or modify these Terms at any time, without prior notice, in order to reflect changes in law, technology, or business operations. The most current version will always be posted on this page with a “Last Updated” date. Continued use of VerixEdu after changes have been published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
VerixEdu is primarily designed for students preparing for national and international examinations, including but not limited to the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), and other standardized tests. Access is open to learners of all ages; however, certain features may be tailored specifically to secondary or post-secondary education levels.
By using VerixEdu, you represent and warrant that:
Users under the age of 18 may require parental or guardian consent to access certain features. Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise their children’s online activity to ensure appropriate and responsible use of educational technology.
The services provided by VerixEdu may evolve over time. Some features may be free, while others may require payment, subscription, or registration. You agree that VerixEdu may, at its discretion, introduce new tools, limit certain functionality, or discontinue features without prior notice.
Access to VerixEdu may be restricted in certain jurisdictions if prohibited by local law or regulations. By using the platform, you confirm that such access is not unlawful in your location. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and academic integrity policies relevant to your use of VerixEdu.
VerixEdu does not encourage misuse of its services, such as using the platform to gain unfair academic advantage, cheat in examinations, or violate institutional rules. Any violation may result in suspension or permanent termination of access without refund or compensation.
Certain features of VerixEdu may require you to create an account in order to access personalized learning tools, track your progress, or participate in quizzes, challenges, or discussions. When registering for an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information as requested by the platform. Any false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in suspension or termination of your access.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your username, email, and password. You agree not to share your login details with any third party or allow others to use your account. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, you must notify VerixEdu immediately at verixedu@codeverix.com.
VerixEdu cannot and will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or unauthorized activity that arises from your failure to maintain proper security of your account. While we take reasonable measures to safeguard user data and platform integrity, users are expected to implement best practices, such as choosing strong passwords, logging out of shared devices, and avoiding suspicious links or downloads.
If a breach of security or suspicious activity is detected, VerixEdu reserves the right to suspend or disable your account until the issue is resolved. In severe cases, access may be permanently revoked without prior notice, particularly where academic dishonesty or malicious activity is suspected.
You acknowledge that account registration may be subject to age restrictions, especially for minors, and that parents or guardians may need to supervise or approve such registration in compliance with applicable laws and educational standards.
VerixEdu provides a range of study materials, practice questions, explanations, and AI-powered tutoring assistance designed to support students in their academic journey. While the platform strives to ensure that all materials are accurate, relevant, and aligned with examination standards such as the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), and other curricula, VerixEdu does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or absolute correctness of any information provided.
Educational resources on VerixEdu are provided for informational and supplementary purposes only. They should not be regarded as official exam materials, final marking schemes, or guaranteed outcomes. Students are advised to cross-reference content with official textbooks, teacher guidance, and exam board materials.
The AI-assisted features of VerixEdu, including automated question generation, explanations, and chat-based tutoring, are powered by machine learning models. These tools are intended to enhance understanding and promote independent learning but may occasionally produce incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate responses. Users are encouraged to exercise critical judgment and seek clarification from qualified educators when necessary.
By using VerixEdu, you acknowledge and agree that:
The platform strongly discourages using its resources for purposes that violate academic integrity, such as attempting to cheat in examinations, plagiarizing answers, or misrepresenting AI-generated content as your own work. VerixEdu is designed to promote learning, discipline, and critical thinking, not shortcuts or dishonest practices.
Users who misuse the platform in a way that undermines its educational mission may have their access limited or permanently revoked. VerixEdu assumes no liability for misuse of its content in violation of academic policies, laws, or institutional rules.
VerixEdu offers both free and paid tiers of service. The free version of VerixEdu is available to all users without the need for account registration. It provides access to basic educational resources, selected study materials, and introductory AI tutoring features. The goal of the free version is to ensure that every student, regardless of financial background, has access to high-quality supplementary learning tools.
The paid version of VerixEdu, referred to as the Premium Service, requires users to create an account and subscribe to a membership plan. Premium features may include, but are not limited to:
No user is obligated to purchase or subscribe to the paid version. The decision to upgrade rests entirely with the individual. VerixEdu does not withhold essential educational content behind paywalls; instead, it offers Premium Services as an enhancement for users who desire more personalized or advanced support.
When you choose to purchase a subscription, you agree to provide accurate billing information, including payment method details, and authorize VerixEdu (through its payment processor) to charge the applicable fees. Subscriptions may be offered on a monthly, term-based, or annual basis, depending on availability at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise specified, subscription fees are non-refundable. However, VerixEdu may, at its sole discretion, issue refunds or credits in cases of technical error, duplicate payment, or other extraordinary circumstances. Refund requests must be submitted to verixedu@codeverix.com within seven (7) days of the transaction.
VerixEdu reserves the right to modify its pricing structure, introduce new plans, or discontinue existing plans at any time. Users will be notified of changes before renewal of their subscription, and continued use of Premium Services constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
If payment cannot be processed for any reason (e.g., expired card, insufficient funds, or failed transaction), VerixEdu may suspend or terminate access to Premium Services until the issue is resolved. Free services, however, will remain available to the user.
Unless otherwise stated, all content, design elements, source code, trademarks, logos, and educational resources available on VerixEdu are the intellectual property of Codeverix Digital or its licensors. Such content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws in Kenya and internationally.

Any violation of the above restrictions may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account, reporting to relevant authorities, and pursuit of legal remedies where applicable. VerixEdu reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any suspected misuse.

Examples include social media integrations (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), communication tools (e.g., WhatsApp support), or educational resources from external websites.
You acknowledge and agree that VerixEdu does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, products, or services. Accessing third-party platforms is done at your own risk, and you should review the respective terms and privacy policies of those services before use.
Some Premium Services may involve partnerships with payment processors, analytics providers, or advertising networks. While VerixEdu makes every effort to ensure the reliability and security of these services, it cannot guarantee their performance, accuracy, or compliance. Any issues arising from third-party services should first be directed to the relevant provider.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VerixEdu and Codeverix Digital disclaim all liability for damages, losses, or claims arising from or related to your use of the platform. This includes, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, even if VerixEdu has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
VerixEdu is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive to maintain uptime, accuracy, and reliability, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the platform or the accuracy of content.
Specifically, VerixEdu is not liable for:
Some jurisdictions may not allow exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages. In such cases, VerixEdu’s liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without regard to conflict of law principles. Users accessing VerixEdu from outside Kenya agree that the platform is operated under Kenyan law and accept responsibility for compliance with local laws in their jurisdiction.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the use of VerixEdu, or services provided shall first be attempted through amicable resolution. If such resolution fails, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
VerixEdu retains the right to pursue injunctive or equitable relief in any jurisdiction where its intellectual property rights are infringed or where its operations are threatened.
VerixEdu may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, educational policies, technology, or business operations. When updates are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document will be modified accordingly.
Users are encouraged to review the Terms regularly to remain informed of their rights and obligations. Continued use of VerixEdu after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue your use of the platform.
